Description

Six complete front arms for Model Y (2020–2024)

This is a front-only refresh: both upper arms, both straight lower arms, and both curved “banana” arms. It is not an upper-arm-only kit, not a full-car kit, and it does not fit Juniper (2025+) or Model 3.

What you are buying

  • 6 complete arm assemblies with ball joints and bushings already pressed in
  • Aftermarket parts built to the Tesla OE numbers below — not a Tesla Service Center boxed original unless the packing says so
  • Bolts, alignment, rear arms, sway-bar links, and tie rods are not included
  • Shop time is typically 2–4 hours plus a 4-wheel alignment. A lift is expected
  • Uninstalled quality issues: 30-day exchange. Installed parts are not returnable for change of mind — see our warranty policy

What’s in the box

Match these numbers to the stamp on your arms. The straight lower arm on Model Y is 1188341-00-C — not the Model 3 1044341 arm.

Qty Part (plain name) OE on this kit Also fits if your stamp is
1 Front upper arm, left 1044321-00-G 1044321-00-E / F / H (same arm, earlier/later letter). -00-J — photo first
1 Front upper arm, right 1044326-00-G 1044326-00-E / F / H. -00-J — photo first
2 Front lower straight arm (same part left or right) 1188341-00-C If you see 1044341 or 1288341 — photo first
1 Front lower curved / banana arm, left 1044354-00-A Early cars may show 1044351-00-C — photo first
1 Front lower curved / banana arm, right 1044359-00-A Early cars may show 1044356-00-C — photo first

Will this fit?

Look at the stamp on the arms. Year helps, stamp decides. Same OE worldwide for this generation — no US / EU / China split.

Install notes

Tighten bushing bolts on the ground

If you torque the inner bushing bolts with the wheels hanging, the new rubber is pre-twisted and can tear early. Set ride height, then torque. Replace one-time lock nuts. Then a 4-wheel alignment.

Joint Typical Tesla spec Note
Lower arms to knuckle 180 Nm Replace the lock nut
Upper arm to body 35 Nm (small) / 62 Nm (large) From Tesla Model Y service procedure
Lower arms to subframe See current service manual Value depends on the bolt (NA vs EU/APAC parts differ). Always at ride height.

Most independent shops book 2–4 hours plus a 4-wheel alignment. A lift is expected. Torque figures above are from Tesla service information for 2020–2024 Model Y — confirm on the manual for your VIN before you tighten anything.

Why replace the set

Clunks, wander, inner tire wear

Worn front bushings and ball joints let the wheel move under braking and over bumps. Refreshing left and right together keeps the geometry even.

No press required

These are complete arms. If only the banana-arm rubber is torn and the metal is straight, the cheaper route is the 1044358-00-A bushing (press needed).

FAQ

Is this only the upper arms?

DetailsNo. Six front arms: two uppers, two straight lowers, two curved banana arms. Not rear arms, not sway-bar links, not tie rods.

Juniper 2025+ or Model 3?

DetailsNeither. Juniper uses 2188- and 1344-series arms. Model 3 needs the Model 3 kit — its straight arm is 1044341, not 1188341. Some 2025 Model Y cars are still pre-Juniper; the stamp on the arm decides, not the calendar year alone.

My upper says F, H, or J, not G.

DetailsE / F / H are the same 1044321 / 1044326 family this kit is built for — order it. J can be a later service letter on pre-Juniper Y or a different generation; send a photo first. If the upper already says 1188321 / 1188326 or 1288321 / 1288326, also send a photo before you buy.

My straight arm says 1044341, not 1188341.

Details1188341-00-C is the Model Y straight arm this kit includes. 1044341 is the usual Model 3 number. A few early Y cars and some catalogs mix them. Send a photo of the stamp — do not order the Model 3 kit for a Y without checking.

Tesla already put 2188 banana arms on my 2020–2024 Y.

Details2188354 / 2188359 are later/cold-climate compliance arms. They may look similar but the bushing rate can differ. Send a photo of the stamp before you buy this kit.

Performance / AWD / RWD?

DetailsYes for 2020–2024 Model Y when the stamps match. Check the arm, not only the trim.

Are these genuine Tesla-boxed parts?

DetailsThey are aftermarket assemblies made to the listed OE numbers. If you need a Tesla Service Center sealed original, say so before ordering.

Bolts and alignment?

DetailsNot included. Replace one-time nuts from Tesla’s parts list. Alignment after install is required and billed by the shop.

How long does install take?

DetailsMost shops book 2–4 hours plus a 4-wheel alignment. A lift is expected. Torque the inner bushing bolts at ride height so the new rubber is not pre-twisted.

Warranty?

DetailsThis is a non-electronic part. Uninstalled quality issues can be exchanged within 30 days of delivery. Installed suspension parts are not returnable for change of mind. See our warranty policy.
