Description
Six complete front arms for Model X (2016–early 2021)
This is a front-only refresh: both aluminum upper arms, both forward lower (fore) arms, and both rearward lower (aft) arms. It is not an upper-arm-only kit, and it does not fit Model S (steel uppers) or Model 3 / Y. 2021+ refresh / Plaid: send a photo of the stamp first.
What you are buying
- 6 complete arm assemblies with ball joints and bushings already pressed in
- 2 camber bolts as shown in the photos (Tesla-style 2007106) — alignment is still done by the shop
- Aftermarket parts built to the Tesla OE numbers below — not a Tesla Service Center boxed original unless the packing says so
- Rear arms, sway-bar links, and tie rods are not included
- Model X uses air suspension. A lift and Tesla Jack Mode are expected. Shop time is typically half a day plus a 4-wheel alignment
- Uninstalled quality issues: 30-day exchange. Installed parts are not returnable for change of mind — see our warranty policy
What’s in the box
Match these numbers to the stamp on your arms. The two silver A-arms are Model X uppers — not the black steel uppers on Model S. Photos also show two camber bolts.
| Qty | Part (plain name) | OE on this kit | Also fits if your stamp is |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Front upper arm, left (aluminum) | 1027322-00-E | 1027322-00-D (earlier letter). -00-F / G — photo first |
| 1 | Front upper arm, right (aluminum) | 1027327-00-E | 1027327-00-D. -00-F / G — photo first |
| 2 | Front lower rearward / aft arm (same part left or right) | 1027351-00-C | 1027351-00-D / E or 1048951-00-A / B / C (later letter of the same aft arm) |
| 1 | Front lower forward / fore arm, left | 1041570-00-B | 1041570-00-A or 6007998-00-C. Not 1420341 / 1620341 |
| 1 | Front lower forward / fore arm, right | 1041575-00-B | 1041575-00-A or 6006664-00-C. Not 1420346 / 1620346 |
Will this fit?
Look at the stamp on the arms. Year helps, stamp decides. Same OE worldwide for this generation — no US / EU / China split. All Model X are AWD.

2021+ refresh / Plaid, or F/G upper
New X / Plaid, uppers already 1027322-00-F / G, or fore arms 1420341 / 1620341. Later F letters are not automatically the same as this E kit. Email stamp + VIN to [email protected].
Do not buy
Model S, 3, or Y
Model S uses different steel uppers (1043965 / 1043966) — use the Model S kit. Model 3 / Y are a different platform. Do not order if the upper already says 1420321 / 1420326.
Install notes
Air suspension + tighten bushing bolts on the ground
Enable Jack Mode before you lift the car. If you torque the inner bushing bolts with the wheels hanging, the new rubber is pre-twisted and can tear early. Set ride height, then torque. Tesla uses a ride-height tool on the upper arm. Replace one-time lock nuts. Then a 4-wheel alignment. The two camber bolts in this kit are for the aft arm — the shop still sets camber on the alignment rack.
| Joint | Typical Tesla spec | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Upper arm to knuckle | 60 Nm | Replace the lock nut |
| Upper arm to body | 68 Nm | From Tesla Model X service procedure; use the ride-height tool |
| Lower arms to knuckle / subframe | See current service manual | Value depends on the bolt. Always at ride height. |
Most independent shops book half a day plus a 4-wheel alignment. A lift is expected — the front drive unit makes this tighter than a Model 3 job. Torque figures above are from Tesla service information for 2016–2021 Model X — confirm on the manual for your VIN before you tighten anything.
Why replace the set
Clunks, wander, inner tire wear
Worn front bushings and ball joints let the wheel move under braking and over bumps. Refreshing left and right together keeps the geometry even.
No press required
These are complete arms. This kit is the no-press, full-arm route for a pre-refresh Model X front end.
Need a different part?
Model S 6-piece kitDo not use this Model X set on an S. The upper arms are different (aluminum vs steel).Model 3 6-piece kit3 / Y use a different front geometry. Do not mix this X kit onto those cars.
FAQ
Is this only the upper arms? Is it 6 pieces or 8?
DetailsSix front arms: two aluminum uppers, two rearward (aft) lowers, two forward (fore) lowers. Photos also show two camber bolts. That is not a full-car kit and not rear arms, sway-bar links, or tie rods.
2021+ refresh / Plaid Model X?
DetailsDo not order by year alone. Some 2021+ X cars still show 1027322 / 1027327, often as later letter F. This kit is the E revision for pre-refresh geometry. Send a photo of the stamp and VIN before you buy a refresh or Plaid. If you see 1420321 / 1420326 or 1420 / 1620 lower numbers, do not order this kit.
Model S, 3, or Y?
DetailsNo. Model S shares the lower numbers (1027351 / 1041570 / 1041575) but uses different steel uppers (1043965 / 1043966) — buy the Model S kit. Model 3 and Y are a different platform.
My upper says D or F, not E.
DetailsD is the earlier letter of the same 1027322 / 1027327 family this kit is built for — order it. F / G are later letters often seen on 2021+ cars; send a photo first. Do not order if the upper already says 1420321 / 1420326.
My aft arm says 1048951 or 1027351-00-E, not C.
DetailsThose are later letters of the same rearward arm family. Order this kit. If you see 1420-series lower numbers, send a photo first.
RWD vs AWD? Air suspension?
DetailsEvery Model X is AWD. Yes for 2016–early 2021 when the stamps match. These cars have air suspension — Jack Mode, a lift, and a ride-height tool are expected.
Are these genuine Tesla-boxed parts?
DetailsThey are aftermarket assemblies made to the listed OE numbers. Uppers are aluminum / composite, matching this Model X generation — not Model S stamped-steel uppers. If you need a Tesla Service Center sealed original, say so before ordering.
Bolts and alignment? What about 2007106?
DetailsTwo camber bolts as shown in the photos are included. Alignment after install is still required and billed by the shop. Replace any other one-time nuts from Tesla’s parts list.
How long does install take?
DetailsOn air-suspension Model X, most shops book half a day plus a 4-wheel alignment. A lift is expected. Torque the inner bushing bolts at ride height so the new rubber is not pre-twisted.
Warranty?
DetailsThis is a non-electronic part. Uninstalled quality issues can be exchanged within 30 days of delivery. Installed suspension parts are not returnable for change of mind. See our warranty policy.
