Now you can prime and paint right over cured POR-15 with POR-15 High Build Primer. This “interlocking” primer has special adhesion characteristics that make it perfect for most painted surfaces, especially POR 15. This product is a superior primer for any type of paint. It’s a tough yet sandable, single-component primer containing over 60% solids- which is more than double conventional primers. This provides superior leveling characteristics to help overcome surface irregularities. This product is highly resistant to penetrating topcoats, like lacquers, enamels, and two-component finishes. Sands very smoothly.
Lightly sand well-cured paint or POR 15 with 320 grit sandpaper, top with POR 15 High Build Primer.
Ensure application of this product takes place in an area with adequate ventilation, and that respirator masks and appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are worn.
